Training Courses & Support
The Loss Prevention Consultancy offers a wide range of training, both general fire and security training for all staff and specialist training for facilities managers fire wardens and security personnel, fire safety co-ordinators and others. Training courses are either customised for clients or are available via BIFM, the UK’s lead institute for the professional development in facilities management.
The consultancy has in the past been retained by the Association for Project Safety to deliver CPD seminars on fire safety on construction sites in a range of UK locations including Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. Similar courses have been delivered to construction companies, insurers and regulators in many parts of the world In addition, the Consultancy also assists many national and international clients with:
- Preparation of security/fire manuals and documentation.
- Regular reviews/audits of the standards of loss prevention measures in force.
- Assistance in the specifying, tendering and installation of hardware and systems.
- Inspections and audits of security contractor operations.
- Risk assessments (both fire and security)
- Assistance with planning and listed building consents and building regulations approval for listed buildings.
